It is especially unlikely to be pregnant a day before your period, mainly because an EGG that you would have ovulated(if you were not on birth control) would be dead by then.

i read a medical book that said yes you can get pregnant on birth control at any given day, although unlikely. if you don't take it like you should it is real likely. far as getting pregnant a day before your period, yes you can get pregnant. recent studies have shown that not all women ovulate mid cycle and that most don't ovulate mid cycle and that you can get pregnant even while on your period . sperm lives for up to 72 hours and if your body has ovulated from day one of your period you can get pregnant. you can become pregnant at any time rather on birth control or not. so be careful and use condoms with your birth control and always take your birth control at the same time frame everyday.
