I am 54 yr old woman who for many years without realize this have been having shingles. I just found this out. I am having another episode. Is this normal. I must admit I am concerned? I have had this for many, many years, at least 3-6 each year. Thank you, Judy

Im sure someone once told me that once you have had shingles you are very prone to getting it again.
I might be wrong at this but iv got a feeling it never goes away just lies dormant an then if your stressed it triggers it off again.
Ill look it up an make sure its right.
