hi! My boyfriend and i are sometimes too careful, about pregnancy. We use condoms, but we would like to try having sex without it, with pulling out before ejaculation. We are woried abut precum. He claims he can feel anything that comes out, and that he doesn't have precum at all. We never visualy notice anything except ejaculation. Is it possible that it doesn't happend to him, or he can't feel it? And can I get pregnant because of precum if he urinated after last ejaculation?

Hey Tina, I have never heard of anyone being able to "feel" precum while having sex. Usually, with the arousal and all the emotion, it is not on the top of the list of things to think about. My opinion.
Withdrawal is one method, but the probability of precum remaining inside you is very great. The possibility of becoming pregnant is less than as if he ejaculated inside, but it is more than wearing the condom. It is all how you look at the chances.
The old fashion rythem method is something you might want to consider if you want to try unprotected sex, but again, you are taking chances.
Bc is a good means of having safe unprotected sex, but this also comes with its drawbacks.
Hope you make the right decision.

Hi Tina,
Actually, despite what it seems everybody is saying, actual peer-reviewed and published scientific studies have shown that precum does not contain sperm. This makes sense, because precum -- a clear slippery fluid that can ooze from the penis during sexual arousal -- comes from the cowper's gland. So as long as you and your boyfriend do not have any STDs, and he knows his sexual response cycle well and is trustworthy and in good control -- you guys can have a little fun with trying skin-on-skin sex without those pesky condoms. It feels signficantly better for the man, and many women find it is just sexier. The golden rule is that as long as he pulls his penis completely out and away from your vagina before ejaculating real semen (which is loaded with sperm) -- it doesn't matter if he leaks some precum in you. By the way, guys cannot feel precum coming out of the penis during sex. Precum does not trigger any sensation in the penis. Whereas ejaculating semen is associated with waves or pulses of pleasure because the involuntary muscular contractions inside the man's reproductive system are actually forcing the semen ("cum") out of the penis in little jets or squirts or pulses. A man can very disctinctly feel these and, with experience, he can feel when they are about to start and can then pull his penis all the way out of the vagina before they do -- because this is ejaculation of real sperm-filled semen. The pull-out method has an extremely bad name and many scare stories associated with it. This is because sooner or later many guys give in the urge to stay inside for another thrust or two and accidentally let some (or all!) of their semen squirt inside the vagina. Some will pull out after a squirt or two and swear to their girl that they pulled out "in time". Usually they will get away with this. Eventually they will be unlucky and their girl will "catch". Then when they realize they're pregnant, they will both often swear up and down that they got pregnant from "precum". Well, if they're pregnant, it was from sperm ... and there is no sperm in precum. In fact, anyone who doubts all of this and has access to a good school or university labratory with microscopes, can verify this for themselves. Just as all the scientifically controlled studies have found, you can put some precum and real cum on slides and check them for sperm cells under a microscope and will find that only real cum is loaded with wriggling sperm cells!
Again, don't worry about the clear slippery precum that just sort of oozes out. It cannot make anyone pregnant. Be very careful and have fun! If you have any doubt about pulling out before ejaculation, or doubts about being disease free, then this is not something for you.

This information is fascinating, but I swear, this is an accident waiting to happen.
"Don't worry", he says, "Precum contains no sperm. I guarentee it!"
Right! Like what kind of a guarentee is there? You get to give the kid to him?
As the poster above points out, you're gambling, and hoping that the guy recognizes the intense feelings that ejaculation is about to begin, AND successfully pulls all of the way out before ANY of the rapid, uncontrollable contractions begin that will shoot the cum out.
As I said, this is a accident waiting to happen.
We have a name for people who attempt the rhythm method, withdrawl or
pre-cum gamble.... "Parents!"
Don't gamble... be sure. Be protected during sex.
Condom, pill, spermacide, SOMETHING!
good luck :$

Promising a guarantee like that is not a good idea. Hopefully these kids don't crawl under the sheets and take your guarantee with them.
I know it's a big buzz kill to wear a condom, but the alternative is way worse. If you do take this posters advice, the chances of bf getting carried away is great. The first time out without a condom is exciting to both of you and probably feels better, which means bf has got to have complete control and a strong will.
I would not take the chance at all. If you want to take the guest's advice that's up to you. But once you do it that way, your going to like it and your going to take chance after chance, and I can ALMOST guarantee that there will be a slip up along the way for sure. As your guarantee is waking you up all hours of the night, you can thank the Guest for helping you become parents.
If you and bf are sometimes to careful not to become pregnant, as you say, why are you not on the pill? Then you will be able to feel the sensation of "skin on skin" without much worry.

For the sake of accuracy, could you please cite these supposed studies?
I agree, I would like to read them for myself as well! :?

If anyone wants to read and understand more about why you cannot get pregnant from precum (clear, slippery fluid that oozes from tip of penis before orgasmic ejaculation of sperm-filled semen) ... here's a good article ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed with references and numbers.
