Urinary tract infection can affect many aspects of your life and if it comes in the period of your menstrual cycle it can definitely affect your menstruation. I think that it can shorten your period but it can cause you to miss it at all. However if you think that there is a chance that you might be pregnant I would advise that you buy home pregnancy test and see if you are really pregnant. The thing is that your body will be able to fight the urinary tract infection on its own in many cases but sometimes you will need a help of antibiotics. Also if you are already taking medication this can affect the menstruation as well.
