Hello ladies!
I just had a full laparatomy myo on 6/2 and just had my staoles removed today, 6/14, on top of that discomfort, I began my cycle 2 days ago. Obvious to say that I am not the same ball of fun I used to be right now.
I am 28 and have had 2 miscarriages(7 wks and 11 wks) and a chemical loss. I was defeated and devastated. Thankfully, with the love and support of family and friends and by God's grace, my husband and I were able to make it through. Don't get me wrong I think of my boys often and how old they would be now but I thank God that he allowed me to be their mom even for a little while to experience them and to teach me and mold me spiritually to do His will. Knowing that the fibroids were the cause of my losses, now I am on to healing. The pain makes me regret it, but I look forward to carrying full term and delivering a strong healthy baby and watching them grow!
Thank you all for your stories and I hope to be of a little encouragement to someone.

Hello beautiful ladies!
I am 28 and have had 2 miscarriages(7 wks in 2015 and 11 wks in 2016) and a chemical loss in between. I was defeated and devastated.
I just had a full laparatomy myomectomy on 6/2 to remove 6 fibroids that appear to have been located on the outside or slightly under my uterine wall. I just had the staples removed today, and on top of that discomfort, I began my cycle 2 days ago.
I will be going back in 3 months to have the scar tissue removed through my belly button and the doctor said we would be clear to ttc 3 months following to allow further healing of my uterus. Obvious to say that I am not the same me I used to be right now. But I will get back there eventually, moving slowly and healing one day at a time.

I had an abdominal myomectomy in 2012. I had three large fibroids removed, largest was 13cm. I was blessed with my daughter in 2013 and my son in 2016. I just wanted to give you hope that pregnancy can happen after surgery. Wishing all of you trying the very best.

Hi, I'm 27 and I've had 2 early miscarriages and 1 chemical pregnancy in the past year. I switched OBGYN's after the second m/c and I'm glad I did. My first OBGYN said the fibroids were fine and nothing to worry about... and I believed her. When i switched to my new Dr. he immediately started lab work and did an ultrasound to see the placement of the fibroids. He said yes they are small but its where they are located and positioned that is mostly the cause of my misscarriages. He also found out that my right ovary is polycystic. I'll be having surgery soon to remove the fibroids and he is very confident ill be able to conceive after a few months of recovery. He has given me hope! This past year has been devastating and I'm ready to start 2018 with something to look fwd too.
