I had a myomectomy last July 2013 and they had to remove a filopian tube due to damage from one of my fibroid. They also discovered that I had endometriosis... Yay I know lucky!! I am happy to announce that I am 6 weeks pregnant! So yes it's very possible. My pregnancy is considered high risk b/c of my history, but I have faith and an amazing OBGYN. Just need to have a healthy diet, excercise, and take prenatal vitamins even before your pregnant. We were not actively TTC it just happened. Good luck and don't give up!

Hi I had a 16cm fibroid at age 34 and had to have a myomectomy because the anemia was awful. Like you I was embarrassed that I allowed something to grow that large but I found a wonderful fertility specialist/surgeon who was able to calm my nerves and perform a successful surgery. I'm soooo glad I have surgery! I am ovulating and menstrating normal and can get pregnant if I was married. I can't tell you what to do but I wanted to share my story to give you some hope. My advice is to find a good fertility specialist for a second opinion.

There is hope. I'm 41 years old & have fallen pregnant naturally after having had 2 myomectomies. My first myomectomy was in 2005 when I was 31 & the second was in August 2014, at age 40. I got married when I was 39 but we only started living together 16 months after marriage (we were living in different countries).  Within 4 months of living together I discovered I was pregnant  (then age 40) & am now approaching my 20th week, without complications.

Try not to entertain doubts, focus instead  on the divine power of the Almighty.

Yes! Believe in HIS power! Look what HE did for Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, Elizabeth, and Mary in the bible; they all struggled and were promised children and they all conceived and gave birth successfully! Thank you for your testimony! Gives so much hope!

I am scheduled to have my myomectomy on Jan. 9th, 2-14. I am 34 and my husband and I have been wanting children 10 years ago since we got married. The crazy part is that one of the fibroids is right in the cavity, so nothing would happen when we tic anyway. I am excited because I know that after this survey the Lord is going to bless with our hearts desire - children. I pray that all works out for you.

OMG..... that is amazing! I am so happy for both of you. I am sure by now you've had the baby :) I recently had Myomectomy surgery where they removed 51 fibroids. I am praying that I don't have a lot of tissue damage. I am 31 years old, and praying for my first baby.
