These posts have been extremely helpful! I first want to thank you all for sharing your posts. They have helped me get through some very dark times. I’d like to share my story with you all:
Hubby (38) and I (32) have been trying to conceive since Sept. 2016. In May 2017 I was totally frustrated and went to the OBGYN for an appt. I got a call the next day stating that I was pregnant! I was completely excited and couldn’t believe it! About one week later, I started to have extreme cramping and bleeding, I went back to the OBGYN and my hcg levels were low and dropping. I opted to have a natural miscarriage and it took about 2 months for me to finally take a test and it said not pregnant. I had an HSG and tubes etc. were all clear. I then had a scan and my OB stated that I had 2 fibroids, one was in the wall of my uterus and pushed up against the implantation site of my uterus which could have caused my first miscarriage at 6 weeks. I opted for a myomectomy asap. After being on metformin and othe rmeds for months, I was diagnosed with PCOS and continued meds per the OB. I don’t have diabetes and have lost 25 pounds since taking the metformin for 3 months so I was feeling great around the time of my myomectomy. I had the procedure November 2017 and have been told to wait 3 months before trying. He removed one golf ball size fibroid behind my uterus and an orange sized fibroid from teh side of my uterus (in the muscle). My hubby and I are counting the days as you can imagine! February 2017 can’t get here fast enough! We are ready to start our family and have been so distraught over our loss in May. I will keep you all posted on progress! My uterus and scars are healing very well per the MD so we are just taking it easy.
