I knkow I need to ask my doctor, but the office is closed...

I am scheduled tohave a myomectomy tomorrow to remove a 10 cm pedunculated fybroid tumor. My menstrual cycle JUST started. I know that these surgeries cannot be performed on a pregnant uterus, but can I still have surgery during my cycle or will the surgery need to be rescheduled?
