Hello, folks. My friend has been diagnosed with hypophosphatasia. I know that this is a congenital disease and I would like to know something more about the possible treatment. I would like to know about choline. I hope someone will know something to tell me about this. Thank you in advance.

Hi, there. You are right. Hypophosphatasia is a rare metabolic disease. It is characterized by decreased amount of enzyme called alkaline phosphatase. Defective bone mineralization is another characteristic. There are to forms of disease – autosomal dominant and autosomal recessive. There is still no cure for this disease.
