Funny....I am older and do experience ED from stress. I utilize Cialis and Viagra. Both work like I was 18 again. I took Claritin D and moments later, maybe an hour, it was like pushing a truck up a hill with a rope. Nothing...I paniked and assured her it was all me. I have the same problem last night. I took the Claritin-D for my allergies yesterday and last night I want to have sex. I could not get any erection. I never that erection problem. It happens three years ago when I took Claritin-D and Flownase together. That time I could not figure it out which one causing it. But now I am pretty sure this medication is a libido killer.

So I am a healthy 55 year old male and have never had erectile issues. I have been taking Mucinex D for the last couple of days to try and get rid of some congestion and became alarmed when I could not get an erection yesterday or today. I figured it had to be the Mucinex and I am glad to see that this is a side effect. I will cease taking it now and see how long it takes to get out of my system so that I can perform.

Thank god I found this link. I've been taking generic Loratadine for about a month and a half. I have lost my libido, by member is almost completely numb and I have no ability to get it up. Also, ejaculation has been diminished and restricted. Totally discontinuing the Loratadine and gonna try using Nasacort only. Looking forward to getting some feeling down below and getting back to normal.

My doctor recommended that I take a decongestant for a couple of week to try to clear up a hearing problem so I started taking taking two 12-hour Claritins a day on a Thursday and by Saturday was unable to achieve an erection at all. I was curious to see if it was the Claritin and came across this forum. Suspicion confirmed. I have Claritin for allergies with only Loratadine and have not had same problem but I take it only intermittently. I'm going back to the pharmacy to see if I can find one without the pseudoephedrine. Phenylephrine maybe an alternative.
