ive never really had any respiratory problems besides my asthma but lately ive been short of breathe ive been thinking that it could be seasonal but this has never happened before it doesnt vary from standing up or sitting down it stays the same but i noticed today while standing in line at arbys that my hands and face were going numb this had only happened once before since ive gotten short of breathe does anyone konw what might be going on?

I completely agree with the poster above me. It is just anxiety, well it is not just but there is no need to panic, especially because this condition is going to be even worse if you start to panic. This condition is normal part of life and in some cases it is not diagnosed as a mental condition. Anyhow, if you feel that anxiety interferes your daily routine you will have to consult your doctor about it.

When it comes to the treatment option, doctor will probably suggest both, medications and therapy or counseling. The best is to combine these two. Of course there are some difficulties when choosing the right dosage. I hope this was helpful.
