I was aware of this when I was doing tennis and that's how I feel lucky that I only have tennis elbow and not something like this. It's good advice to make sure that you warm up to an exercise because you can really injure yourself otherwise. Thanks for posting this!

I've had a longitudinal tear of the peroneal brevis tendon. It's been repaired, but the ankle locking has not stopped, and I'm in chronic pain again. I just had another cortisone shot, and if this doesn't help I will need to go back into surgery to "explore" whether or not it's torn again. Should stretching at this point hurt or help? I'm 41, and not super active-since I can't be-but I'm at the end of my chain here..... any advice from anyone?
