connection between childhood epilepsy and pituitary tumors?

There very well be a correlation between childhood epilepsy and pituitary tumors.  If there are any tumor of any kind in the brain, I would imagine there would be a risk of seizure activity.  Are you asking about this because of personal experience?  I know my friend has a daughter with tuberous sclerosis and this means that she has many tumors on various organs, including the brain.  She has seizures several times a day, since she was a baby.  It can be very difficult for the parent to go through something like that.
