i have been on depo for over 2months.i called the clinic to ask if it was ok for me to have unprotected sex? they said i would be fine but i also forgot is it safe for me to have unprotected sex if this is my first shot & im on my period is it still safe to have unprotected sex? would the period affect anything?

I think it would be safe, to just use a condom until you been on the depo for awhile. Therefore, it would for sure be accurate.
