Hello. I have some problems and they represent a big misery for me.
About three months ago I started to notice a red rash develops or followed by a flu-like illness.
I don’t know what could cause this reaction. I haven’t been bitted be any insects or anything similar.
I just want to mention also that I was diagnosed with syphilis few months ago and I'm taking some antibiotics for it.
Could it be caused by these drugs or should I seek for a cause on some other field?

There can be several things that could cause your rush. First I can think of could be vitD hypervitaminosis.
You could, let say, eat too many eggs and cause your self this kind of reaction.
Of course there are some other options. This could be caused by one reaction called Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction, often called herxing.
The Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction is believed to be a reaction caused by organisms dying off and releasing toxins into the body faster than the body may comfortably handle it.
You said that you had syphilis and that you are taking some antibiotics- well, this reaction is an acute response thought to be caused by a sudden release of allergy-causing or toxic substances when certain organisms are attacked with antibiotics.
Beside rush there are also some other symptoms of herxing like chills, fever, muscle pains, rapid heartbeat, and slight lowering of blood pressure during the first 24 hours of antibiotic therapy.
The reason for this may be the diminished blood flow system caused by the thickening of the blood.
So, you should contact your doctor and tell him to prescribe you some non-antibiotic drug and all your symptoms will disappear.
