Hello to you too. Malignant hyperthermia is a rare condition. It is congenital. Usually, it is provoked in general anesthesia. Some anesthetics and myorelaxants are suspected to be the triggers. This condition is life threatening. Before discovering dantrolene, the rate of mortality was about 80%. With dantrolene, the mortality was decreased to less than 10%. I hope your friend will be better. Good luck!
