I am sixteen and for the past 7 months or so I have been having an itchy rectal and anal area as well as my butt crack. I also have really bad pain in my left abdomen, although this has been present for maybe a year or two. Recently I realized that when I pass stool, it burns a bit but generally has started to become thinner around the end. Maybe a centimeter or two. Sometimes I feel as if I can pass more stool when I really have none left to pass. It's usually light brown though. The burning is usually soothed whenever I pass a gas. A couple hours ago, I used my index finger and pushed it up my bum... on the bottom of my rectum I felt a lump which is not present at the top, it is quite firm and under the skin...also feel no pain. I was wondering if this is a polyp or maybe even a tumour... or is it common to have a well for better words lumpy-indentation in the rectum, hence why our stool sometimes come out a certain way. I also have a high level of flatulence.

since the area has been itchy, I wouldn't call it "common lumpy-indentation in the rectum" but it also doesn't have to mean that it is a tumor. What is important is that you report this to your parents and see your GP or get a referral to a GE and have this checked. It could be "simply" a hemorrhoid but it is always better to be on the safe side.
