My doc recently took a pregnancy test, when I went to see if I was suffering from thrush, which I had never had before! The test showed positive and I always had thrush. She told me to go to the nurse a week later, which I did to have another test taken and work out due date etc. She took the test for this time to say negative. Could having thrush have gave me a false positive reading???? :-( or could using the thrush cream have given me a negative reading? :-( please someone help

No, medications do not alter a pregnancy test, unless you are taking certain fertility drugs.
It is possible that you had a false negative, or a false positive, which is rare.
