Hello I'm 13 and I have the same problem you do only I've been doing the sleeping, eating, and stress thing for about 3 years already (5th grade) I've always had these twinges on random parts of my body but now it feels just like what you describe and I'm really really scared if I'm going to have this for the rest of my life or if it's gonna get worse I think I can't survive like this. So please tell me what your doing. Everyone thinks I'm crazy but I don't really mind I'm not in the mental hospital like some of my close cousins are but telling me I'm crazy is not going to help this problem go away.

DONT EVER mention Morgellons Disease to a doctor. This hasn't been proven as a 'real' phenomena and if you mention it to them they will just think you are either a Meth head or a Psych case. When I mentioned it, I had them give me ivermectin and I saved some of the 'black' things coming out of my skin to have them analyzed. They tested it and said it was all just fiber or hair follicles, I even made them do 3 biopsies on places where I had seen little white 'bugs' crawling into my skin after feeling a stinging sensation, no results. Finally, I bleached the c**p out of everything in my house, doused myself in head to toe vaseline and slept all night in it wrapped in plastic wrap. I am NOT a meth head, but this occurred after I had had a sexual encounter that I wasn't too proud of. I think mine is anxiety as the sensations have started coming back. You just have to keep it in your head that NOTHING is crawling on you and talk to your psych about anti-anxiety medications. We have dander and lint just like all other animals, it doesn't mean anything bad. Also, later I found out I had a food allergy and when you get hives it has the same 'stinging' sensation when they appear as if something bit you, I suggest you get tested for allergies.

Morgellons is not the problem.        Read about:   Formication.

Go to a dermatologist and explain problem.  She should prescribe something like Gabapentin and one small dose of 100 mg   daily should eliminate sensation.   Problem can be caused by damage to nerves.

Good luck.

Hi , I used to have such sensations as described in previous posts , now for the past 2 months or so the symptoms have all but disappeared .Now i have been reading about some of you that tend to think about the bites , itches & tingles and that allows the problem to persist , now i must say when i think about the itches , i tend to actually feel them .Try distracting yourself somehow and put your thoughts (as hard as it may be) into another more peaceful place .There may well be many psychological problems that we discount or that are unknown .This could be more of a phobia than anything else .

MOLD SPORES... it is the only reason,, I did a never ending research on the subject, if you can see mold build up in your room, including any electrical equipment which is having a fan/or filters inside check and clean with Lysol or bleach. Wash your cloths with Tide bleach alternative or a little lysol in. Take bath in the warm water with a little bleach in it. rub alcohol gel on your body where you feel it after bath. I am sure it is mostly on scalp and face because it needs moisture to grow and tender skin to thrive on.Please post the result whether it helped you or not ,for those ones who are infected with and thinks that it is caused from bed bugs or flease, mites, bird lices, cloth moths, withdrawal symptoms, stress, and side effects from medicines and some other nonesense like gods curse!

I googled paranoia of bugs crawling on you and it brought me here. at night recently ive felt the sensation of bugs crawling all over me, nothing visible. no bite barks or scratches, no redness whatsoever. just the unbearable feeling of things crawling on my legs, arms back and neck I cant handle it. I cant sleep at night.

I know a year has gone by. I hope you are not still struggling with this. My struggle with this just began and I am trying to beat it. I was pulling my eyelashes out too. I thought it was all OCD. It started that way but then I realized I was pulling because my eyes bugged me. I have been working on getting rid of demodex or eye mites. I am 5 days in and I know I caused this. The eyelash pulling stimulates your eyelid glands to produce oil. The mites eat the oil. The more oil, the more mites. The more I pulled, the more oil I made. I am washing with cold water to minimize the stimulation and I avoid touching. I even put socks on my hands at bedtime.

Sounds definitely Scabies. It can spread but can also be confined to one area. They get worse at night because that is when they reproduce. the large red areas are colonies of scabies bugs. You need to get some prometherin cream. Kills them within a few days. If you cannot afford to go to the doctor, selsun blue shampoo contains the medication but at a lower dose. Rub it all over the affected area and leave on for 30 mins or longer then shower.

I considered that but I had no chance of exposure. The tube crust on my eyelashes was a dead giveaway. Instead of TTO for the big kill on November 5 I used cannabis oil. It was very effective as it also contains terpenes. Repeated applications every 9 days and I also washed as needed with cold water and diluted TTO shampoo. I worked hard to cut down on these washings because that was stimulating those oil glands.
I looked at my diet and health issues and I realized my immune system could be a problem. Weird things happen then. I am taking zinc and Vitamin C and a good daily multiple.
My eyelashes have been mite free for over a week (fingers crossed). My eyebrows are fighting it off - the roots are deep. I had plucked them caterpillers away and now they are growing back. All that activity in the roots makes the bugs busy. I have had good success by just rubbing mass quantities of Vicks into my eyebrows. I do not re-dip my fingers in the jar since the mites survive in oil. I switch hands for my other side of my face too. I have one side almost clear.
I have become OCD about not touching my eyes, nose, eyebrows, and face unless I use a clean tissue. I think this has kept them from spreading. A splash Listerine from the dollar store on a wet cloth is very good for cleaning eyelashes, face, etc., too (feels like a mild astringent). Don't use too much though as it can be drying. I dried out my eyelids and then I had to use Vaseline. I found out that weight on my eyelashes - like ointments - stimulates the oil glands and then the mites come out too. I bought strong eyeglasses at the dollar store so I can watch for crooked eyelashes and crust on them. I am not feeling anything on them anymore - Yay! Gobs of Vaseline in each eye corner at night helped me a lot.

I just started feeling things crawling on me today. This morning i felt it on my arm and I jumped up and brushed my arm off. Then at about 6:30 pm I felt something near my neck. I freaked out and brushed my neck off. I think I may be a bit paranoid since I fund 2 spiders in my house, but lost them (i do have a big fear of spiders). And I live in Massachusetts if that makes a difference. What to you all think?

Try 25 mg Doxepin twice daily. It fixed my "crawly bug" problem perfectly. However, weight gain was a problem so I stopped taking. Now losing weight but "bugs" are back!
