I dont Know of a natural cause.But i can understand how you feel.
My daughter at the age of 3 too went into hospital with a kidney infection.
She had a few test an it came back that she had a reflux.
This can cause infections on a regular bases.
She was put on Trimetoprin 5ml once a day until she was 5.
up until 5 infections can cause damage to the kidneys.
They are fully developed by time they are 5 an less likely to become damaged if an infection happens.
I guess your doctor has done a similar thing with your child to reduce Kidney damage.
