I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and my doctor put me on birth control pills that I took for only 3 weeks and began having nausea
and vomiting like I was pregnant but the home pregnancy tests are negative. I am having severe right side ovarian pain and am seeing my doctor tomorrow. She said the next step is to have laser surgery to have it removed, but I am scared because everyone says they always come back. Has anyone one ever had surgery and no cysts ever came back? And what foods can help or does smoking make it worse? I don't know anything about what caused this and my doctor never told me how big my cyst is.
