I just found out that I have a 6cm cyst on my left ovary and a 2cm on my right ovary. I have been having problems with cysts for the past 7 years. Now they are getting bigger and the pain is all the time. In sept 2006 I was hospitalized because I was in Wal-Mart when I fainted. Come to find out mutiple cysts had burst.
I am scheduled for surgery on Aug 20 to remove my current cysts. I am terrified of them breaking while I am waiting. The last time the pain was worse that haveing a baby with out an epidural.
Would having my left ovary removed help with my ongoing problem on my left side? How would I ask my doctor?
