Hi, I am 22 and decided that I'm ready to lose my virginity after 4 yrs of dating my current BF. We have tried to have sex twice but my hymen just doesn't break. Last time he was able to push in about 1 and half or two inches but i could feel a stretching and burning sensation and of coarse some pain. He couldn't push all the way in because it was causing me and him pain so we stopped (we did use lots of lubricant). When i looked at my hymen afterwords i couldn't see a hole. In general i can't even wear normal tampons. The only tampon i can use is the slender one from Playtex. So i am confused whether i have lost my hymen or not and how many times is it gonna take to get rid of it? do you feel it being ripped or any signs that i can tell?
