Hi. I am a guy that is 19 years old and I jog a lot. I want to go to the mega marathon, and mega marathon is 40 km long. I have to start to make myself run more and more, so I could run the whole 40 km. Have anyone of you ever run for that long? Any advices on how to behave? I am new to this, so any info on this is good.

First build up some speed, and then try to run longer and longer. It is important that you keep hydrated all the time. It would be smart to bring some mp3 player or something like that, because it is great for the tempo and speed. Try not to kill yourself, since this is your first big marathon. I did it once, and I dropped my soul out. It was very hard.
