Two nights ago my friend admitted to me that she took speed at this club she went. She told me about how good she felt, and that she would gladly do it again. I am not really into all of these things, but she asked me if I also wanted to try it. The thing is that I know almost nothing about methamphetamines. Is there anybody who could tell the about the danger of amphetmanines? Thx

I took speed a couple of times and even though it was really good while I was on it, when the effect would stop, I would feel so lethargic and depressed, and feel so empty. I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on my studyings, I was exhausted both physically and mentally for the next couple of days. Some of my friends felt irritable, anxious, and even dizzy. You know, amphetamines are psychologically addictive. Many people start taking larger doses to get rid of the depression that occurs when the speed affects fade away. This leads to taking higher doses and regular use which may further lead to delusions, hallucinations and feelings of paranoia and damage blood vessels and cause heart failure. Most people who take speed don’t even know what the consequences are.
