Anyone out there had their 2nd toe amputated and is post 2 years.? I
d like to hear from you and how your fairing and noted effects.

Mine are a nightmare...3rd toe is somewhat hammered-straight, and soul of shoe is pushes up on outer 3 toes, pain under 3rd toe and 3rd MT joint area as the 3rd MT joint is somewhat hammered and strikes the ground in what is termed as "Loaded" meaning the joint is open when it makes contact. In short, it is a crappy life if your a young, active, healthy person who enjoys being active. I have appt in 2 weeks for post Sesmoidectomy follow-up of other foot and dr will examine wheather to perform hammertoe and release to the 3rd toe.
