Can you tell me what a result of 138 EIA means? That is 6 points lower than being considered "high". They were testing for HIV. Does this mean it will go higher and I should be tested again later?

Hi there, I don't know whether you are high or low or what any of that means. What I can help with is EIA means - it is the type of screening test they used and stands for 'Enzyme Immune Assay'. It can take awhile for results to show up meaning if you think you just got infected it can take up to 6 months for a positive reading to show up. Sorry I can't help with the numbers but hope what I did answer helped.
