Birth control pills do not affect your ability to get pregnant in the future so long as you are not on them when you are trying to conceive. They help regulate periods and they can make it so that you do not menstruate as heavily as you once did. I think that you might want to consider taking the pills. Keep us posted on what you decide!

I am not sure that you are suffering from endometriosis or not, but it seems to me that if your doctor has already checked you out and determine that you do not have that, so I think that the birth control pills would be a good idea to try. If your periods don't regulate out then I think endometriosis would be a good option to still investigate.
