About a month ago I woke up one morning, and my lower right abdomen ,and right testicle were hurting. The pain was almost like a groin pull so i shrugged it off for a few days. Then all of a sudden the pain stopped. I had read online that it could be a small infection so i thought nothing more about it. After a few days i started noticing that my right testicle was become more sensitive to touch and when i urinated my right testicle would have pain. I went to the doctor and he ran a urine culture but found nothing and told me i was just dehydrated. As i said it is a month later and the pain when urinating is still there in my right testicle but that is the only symptom. I have not been sexually active so it is not an STD, could it be epidydimitus?

I have suffered from epidydimitus in the past. I had swelling of the epidydimus which was extremely painful all the time (this made my testicle feel very sore and swollen). I didn't have any pain when urinating though. I was prescribed anti-biotics and went for an ultrasound, and everything cleared up. I hope this helps.

You are very lucky that yours cleared up with an anti-biotic --- mine did not and I ended up having a left testicular de-nervation done ( but nerves grow back) The only thing that made life easier was a medication called Lyrica.
Now I am going to see about having my testicle removed as the side effects to the Lyrica are out waying the pain free life it as given me.

first thing that I would ask is have they done an X-ray to check to see if you have kidney stones. The first time I had kidney stones I swore somebody was hitting me in my right testicle. why kidney stones make your tecticle hurt I don't know so that what I advide every body to get checked.
