im on day 8 of post op tonsil/adenoidectomy and yes the pain has gotten worse but thats normal. During these days the scabs that have been forming on your tonsils are slowly starting to fall off causing the intense pain we are all feeling. Its completely normal. Thrush is also pretty normal but its not causing the intense pain you are feeling.
