I've never experienced this before, if anyone has please let me know if I'm correct, I missed my period completely last month, 15 days late I went to the doctor and through an internal ultra sound they found a small 2 cm cyst on my left ovary. I am not pregnant and the doctor ordered blood test which I still haven't received the results. My period started 3 days ago, it's seemed normal until today. I was wearing a tampon and stood up to leave work and it felt like I had wet myself. Going to the bathroom I realized I was soaked all the way through my parents with a watery discharge, almost clear in color, a bit cloudy and a little pink tinted. The smell was... Odd. I don't know how to explain it, unpleasant though. I called my friend and she said my ovarian cyst had probably erupted. Would this excessive discharge make sense? I'm very uncomfortable and not sure how long to expect this to last. My doctor told me to call and they'd fit me in for another ultra sound tomorrow. If anyone has had a similar experience id love confirmation that this sounds "normal"

My monthly period is regular. I'm not on a pill or any medication. I've been having this clear, watery like discharge, no smell but very heavy that I have to wear a pad just like having my normal bloody period... The normal red blood period comes then on the 6th or 7th day it will be a clear watery discharge til the 12th to 14th day but not as heavy as the normal period... Is it still part of my monthly period? Really annoying and disturbing coz I have to wear a pad for 2 weeks. Been to the doctor about the excessive discharging, been checked for STDs, papsmear- the doctor said it's normal. (I t stops at the onset of ovulation, if I dont ovulate d fluid discharge extended. And in such case I only enjoy a week respite to the next period) Please help. Thanks!

Hey I know this is an old post!! But been having the same issue. Wonder if things got any better for you?I miscarried 3 months ago. My periods have been awful sore since, straight after my period is finished I have this awful clear discharge that is very heavy. Never had this before. YES!!! This!!!! I see a lot of people say this is 'normal'. We all know our normal discharge. And yes clear, odorless discharge can be normal, however it is excessive and new then get fibroids ruled out. I started noticing this 6 months ago and we discovered the fibroid 2 months ago and now it has double in size. This is a huge sign of a fast growing fibroid!!

That is very good advice. The same thing happened to me. I had a large fibroid, didn't know about it, thought I had some sort of urinary incontanence .... had the fibroid removed last week and I'm cured.
