I'm 13 and I've had my period since I was 11 I've had 1 yeast infection and other then that I'm healthy I ended my period today and I'm having discharge that makes my undies feel soaking wet and it smells really bad I'm not sure what it is I'm gonna clean real good and get some wipes and wear a liner and shave my pubic hair if my mom will let me I think that's what causing it....I think you just have heavy discharge if there's no smell or any weird color and its clear and slimy and your in middle of ovulation so it's normal maybe try some panty liners if those don't work try buying so period panties that are made for discharge their expensive but really good and worth It hope this helps :)

@sfsbhs - I, too, have similar issues. Have you had any resolution yet? So, I am a few yrs older than you & have had very heavy periods for over a yr & 1/2 now. I've also had the water-like discharge after my period ends -for the one week a month. I spend a fortune on both pads & tampons. I easily go thru a box of super-plus tampons in a day...also pads are a must (back-up is something I have to have!). I sadly will probably never wear white or light-coloured pants again! I have been to several doctors, had pap-smears, scans, etc., & they say nothing is wrong. I know that early-menopause runs in my family, but have no idea if this watery discharge is related to any of that. Am hoping someone will shed some light on what the bloody hell is going on!

They put me on the pill, I hade my cycle. . Longer than normal "3wks" then this clear discharge and like many of you ladies I need a pad.. ugggg this us horrible.. I guess I'm glad I'm not alone.

The discharge that we referring referring to is after period, not the ovulation time discharge. It follows after the normal 5 days period and is very watery and heavy when it occurs. As mentioned above it is odorless but is very uncomfortable, for you feel like you are having a period all over again. This started to happen to me a year ago and it is heavier now. I am age 48. I am happy to hear that am not alone, because I thought it was my body and not women in general at that age. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Hi ladies im 31, Caucasian, and have been having this post period watery liquid "discharge" that lasts usually 2 to 3 days, and it started about 5 years ago. Some months it doesn't ever occur. Tis time, however, it is just like a second "clear" period after the blood period. I think it is normal because of the fact that it is so very common, and also I think this because a lot of us have gone to get checked out only to be told there is nothing wrong. I can't speak for everyone, but I felt it was important to share my experience as a testimony for a woman my age. (I only noticed posts left by those much younger, or older than myself) I originally thought that it had started as a result of my body maturing, just as I have naturally noted my periods and ovulation nuances changing over time. Im not sure if I will ever stop getting the street period water gushes. It may have a sight musk smell, other times no smell. I think it depends on diet? I eat a lot of garlic and fish so...yeah. Im not worried about it, but just to help reassure those here, it didn't seem to weird. The only thing weird to me is that no ladies ive asked even know what im talking about, it took me looking this up online to figure out I am not the only one.

I had the same problem too. I would go on periods for 5days and 10days of watery discharge with no smell though. I went to different doctors and i was told it was normal. In September, 17, 2015 I had fibriods removal and since that day I am proud to say I'm free from watery discharge. When they took it out it had milky water inside. I will advise every women with watery discharge to go and check for fibriods coz it is the cause of watery discharge. I went back to my gynaecology and told her now I know the cause and I'm free after 5years of suffering. She did not know the cause.

I was going through the same thing, but as soon as my Dr had me remove all dairy and meat (including fish) from my diet my periods became regular. He said that progesterone was the culprit for the heavy menses.

I have the same thing and it's been going on for years. Clear, watery discharge...which requires a daily panty liner or a thin pad. I met with (2) doctors; one stated that it may be degenerative fibroids and the other stated that they had no idea what causes it, what it was; but knows it's common to those with fibroids.

My period ended 4 days ago and now I have the flu and I am having a lot of discharge; nothing burns, nothing itches, nothing smells awful; it's just watery, weird discharge and I was starting to get really worried about it but I went through the Internet and landed here and it makes me feel a lot better but I'm still kind of worried. It has the same feeling of having a period and I think I have to wear a pad for now on because I'm going through underwear like crazy and being sick surely doesn't help either. I wish it would just go away because it's creepin' me out, and to make sure nothing was wrong I used a mirror and checked downstairs and everything looks healthy and normal. I know everyone's post is from over a year ago, but when will it stop? Is it normal? Am I okay?
