Hi, I always take Diclofen when I am in great pain. Perhaps, you can try it too. But, if you have some aspirin at home it could be just as effective as other pain killers. You can apply some cream with local analgetic for gums. There are some with cooling and relieving effect. Sometimes, ice is very helpful as it provides instant relief from pain. If you feel pain even after a few days, you can go to see your dentist again and check if everything is fine. It can happen however, that your teeth hurt just while you are losing affect of local anesthesia.
