Hi, My brother has had surgery to remove what the doctors at first thought was colon cancer, due to their being blood in in his stool. After surgery, he came home a week later and there was a hole in his stomach. It has been over eleven(11) months and the hole is still in his stomach. The doctor periodically goes back in and opens the hole more, but does not give him any antibiotics for this wound. When will this heal. Oh, and after removal of 19 lymph nodes, he was found not to have any malignant tumors. But, due to the hole in his stomach, he is unable to find any ttype of employment due to his medical problems.
