Some years ago I experienced extremely severe itching on my face but had no other visible symptoms. I consulted a dermatologist who told me I had excema although I had no symptoms of that at the time and had never had that in my life (I am now 73) just recently a much milder form of this itching is now taking place. In the earlier case I was suspicious of the itching being caused by my medication. The dermatologist doubted that would be a cause but I did discontinue the medications and the itching went away. We have recently turned on our heat and I just started using a down comforter but those things have not effected me before. Thanks for any advice
