I just had a battery of tests and an upper GI scope. I have pretty bad gastroparisis but that isn’t causing the pain. It sounds exactly like what you describe. I do have fatty liver. I think this must be what it is. It is now hurting most of the time. Maybe it’s my inflamed stomach, but I thought BJ it must be my liver.

I wish there was a way for me to read the results on this post of everyone's tests. I have this on both sides. It literally feels like my organs are getting stuck under my ribcage, usually if I sit up too fast from laying flat or bend over too far too quickly. It hurts. I have to slowly move it out, and I can literally feel my insides 'move' out from under my ribs. it's really scary.

Hi im not sure if its same but a few times when im bending over i get a cramping under my bust on my rib that makes stand up i have to rub it til it goes away and it makes breathing hard,and tge other day after my run i did situps and it happened again but both sides and it wouldn't go away kept coming back i ended up pushing it in which helped my breathing you can see it stuck up as though my muscle has come over my rib and after its red and sore for ages its a horrible scary feeling

I am so glad these have been posted I have the exact same thing. when i suddenly bend down it feels like a lump bulging out. I have had blood tests for liver and kidney all clear. I had an ultrasound all clear. but its still there. my doctor thinks im making it up ? please if anyone has had a diagnosis or more info as its very worrying.

Got shingles and excruciating nerve pain and now this knotted feeling under right side ribs. Was very active prior shingles (midfielder in soccer, netball umpire, gym x4/wk, futsal, daily morning walks with dog).
Had tests and results were "normal ". Except tight uncomfortable pressure under ribs. Still have shingles- now for 4 months. Maybe it is related?

I had the exact same symptoms. After ultra sound i was diagnosed with fatty and enlarged liver. Thankfully it is a reversible condition. The symptoms have reduced with diet control, abstinence from alcohol and exercise.

Sounds like gall bladder but they a lot of times don't look at someone so young for that. They left me untreated for 2 years before mine was so bad I almost died from all the blockage of gall stones. I too was 19, rich food, smoking, caffeine and stress can cause flare ups. Mine was removed at 20.
