female genital sore, not herpes

Hi I had sex with someone and a few days after I noticed a sore near my vaginal opening it hurts some it resembles herpes but sort of does not I got sick like I had the flu out of no where I have sum discharge but its mostly slimy I have no sores on my mouth just the one on my genitals I have not gotten checked out does this sound like herpes please help

Hi guys. Im 15 year old girl and 2 days ago I woke up with a fever. On that days evening I was feeling tired so I crossed my legs and started to lean back. My legs were crossed tighly due to my position but I didnt bother to move coz I was so tired. After a few minutes I stood up and my genital area hurt like hell. It was hard to walk with my legs rubbing one another. So I got home and checked myself. It looked bad. There were like a few bumbs.. transparent and a bit reddish looking near my vaginal opening which is swelling. It hurts when I pee (not inside) because its like peeing on a wound and it is so so very painful until now. I surfed the net and I couldnt find a single match to hat this is. Im not seeing anyone and ive never had sex. does anyone know what this is? please please help.

Hmm it sounds a lot like Herpes symptoms but you've never had sex so that's improbable. Have you gone to see a doctor yet??

first of all why not throw the panties away? washing them means nothing, and its just as nasty...

I'm 15 and I'm a virgin- I've never had any kind of sexual encounter with a guy other than kissing one- and I got the flu three days ago. Two day ago, a bunch of differently shaped brownish red bleeding oozing sores showed up all over my labia and vulva, but not in my vagina I don't think. My mother took me to see our family doctor about it today and after inspecting it, he said he had no idea what it could be, but it was probably a strange reaction from having such a high fever. He prescribed me some lidocaine jelly to apply to the area every two hours. I did that about 4 times which gave a little bit of relief. I went to take a bath for the second time today ( NOT using any kinds of soap as not to irritate the area any more) and noticed that my right labia minora is INCREDIBLY swollen. It is protruding out from between the labia majora and the sore on the swollen side turned white-ish brown. Meanwhile, my left labia minora hurts very badly. Although it is not swollen, some of the sores have lumped together into one big stinging white-brown patch and the other sores looked cracked with dryed blood, feel hard and also sting when I touch them. I am going to tell my mother to make me an appointment with a gynecologist, but until then, could anyone PLEASE help me out with any information at all? I'm terrified that I could have vulvar cancer or something else very dangerous. I can't find anything similar to this on the Internet in my searches and I am just very nervous that this could scar me permanently or just be an ongoing thing. Please please please help.

I have been reading up on different websites and this one and thought I would share.

Several years agos I began getting ulcers on my outer genital area. They were very painful especially when I urinated or walked around. These ulcers/sores would last a few days and I had gone to my gyn who ran blood STD test but nothing showed up.

Last Wednesday, I got them again.(I only get these once in a blue moon) They were painful, canker round sores (sound familiar) I sat down and reviewed my symtoms and when they happen and for lack of a better term, what the circumstances were.

Then it hit me. The week before my break out I had been fillinging under the weather and I was sweating alot, sleeping alot too.

What likes moist, dark, tight areas? Yeast, Bacteria, maybe fungis. Then I thought about babies that get diaper rash.  I had gotten a tattoo that I always wanted and they said to get an ointment called A & D Ointment. It is similar to what you would use for diaper rash like Desitin and the A & D Ointment is kinda like it.

Well the next time I had another break out, I used the A & D Ointment and it took care of the burning, itching and healed the ulcers much to my relief. Know, whenever I get an outbreak, I go straight for the A & D Ointment and the trouble is gone and clear in a weekend.

I wish I had thought about using this early on. So the next time it is happens to you, try the ointment and see if it works for you.. 

I had a non healing cut for over 2 months that wouldn't heal. I finally tried Burts Bee's diaper cream and it went away within 4 days

I have a open sore on my left vaginal outer lip near my vaginal opening it showed up out of nowhere on the 23rd its really only hurts when pee gets on it, I'm std and sti free I tested clean in june and haven't had sexual activity since. I haven't find a answer online, and I can't get into my doc til next year so I'm trying to find out how serious this is

I'm also 15 and the same thing happened to me. My mom took me to the doctor because she came home to me crying from it hurting so bad. They ran some tests and just found I had the beginning of a UTI. But now after reading in here I have been laying around sleeping off a fever and sweating a lot so I might have picked up something from being sick. But I agree with you. It hurts to pee and sometimes to walk. I feel your pain

Ladies! This has happened to me and I know how to make them go away! I had a flare up, same as you all describe. I immediately went to the dr. And she said it seemed like herpes. She took a scrape off one of the sores (OUCH!) to test and it came back negative. Whole STD panel came back negative. Bacteria did not grow on the sample she took either so she said she didn't know what it was! It was so painful I would cry while urinating. Resolution: 1 (yes, just ONE) long warm bath with a cup of Epsom salt in the water and they went away practically right away! Hope this helps someone out there. Do not worry!

You could be allergic to a new soap, detergent, it could be friction burn... good luck

Sounds to me like you have chap vaginal condition where a cress has opened up. Is it in the cress.

Don't worry, it's probably a pimple. Is there a white head or just a swollen lump? Sometimes a lumped up pimple won't grow a white head and will never burst. You might need to talk to a doctor about getting medication for it. It is almost impossible to get genital herpes without having sex. Don't stress

Hi everyone.
I had oral sex with my boyfriend and he had a fever blister on his lip at the time. I started getting sores on my vagina that is so painful when I pee, wipe and even walk. I went to see the doctor. She never tested me for herpes but gave me medication for herpes (I looked up the type of medication) and told me i have a fever blister virus. Did she possibly mean I have herpes which I suspect I do given the circumstances? And if I do, I do not understand why I got it on my vagina and not my mouth as I've kissed my boyfriend with a fever blister long before we started having oral sex. I'm really stressed. I've been taking the medication the doctor gave me for 2 days now (it is a 5 day course) and it has not helped. The sores have gotten bigger and more of them have appeared not to mention it is more painful to the point where I lie in bed and cry. It could even be a bacterial infection and need antibiotics to clear it up, because at this point it is getting worse, not better. I am a good girl, I've never had sex and only had oral with my current boyfriend and would be really ashamed if my parents had to find out what I did. PLEASE HELP!
