Finger Nails Curling

There are many causes for curling of the nails. One of the reasons can be that you are not taking enough of the vitamins, just like you said. Also, it can be genetic. Maybe your mother has the same thing, and your grandmother. The cause can also be dehydration of the nails. City water can make your nails dehydrate. This happens because there is chlorine in the water. Nails need to be conditioned just like our hair. Cleaning suplies like shampoos, shower gels can cause you nails to curl. Realize that your hands and nails come in contact with so many things during the day and every single thing has it's impact on them. Washing your hands a lot with antibacterial soaps can make them curl too. Use products like "Solar Oils" every day and see if it helps you, and if it doesn't maybe it is genetic.

I have been researching it myself because mine are doing it. the result:

RESPIRATORY OR HEART PROBLEMS.

I have not found anything at all making reference to the other persons answer about the nails curling. Everything that I have found says it is related to respiratory problems, such as copd and lung diseases, or signs of heart problems.

I do take meds for heart issues so I am going to bring it up to my doctor.

I myself have both COPD and heart issues so this makes some sense to me as my nails curl right over the tops of my fingers sometimes, but it's done it long before I was ever diagnosed with anything!! May need to be a diagnostic tool for docs to figure these illnesses out sooner.

Please, recommend me some remedies for curling nails.

When I get up in the morning, my nails are straight and look good, but as the day progresses, my nails curl under. Anybody has any suggestions?
