This pain is real, im suffering from pain under my right foot when i pee, i have tried to lift it up while draining but nothing helps, its just by my toes and it stings really bad, i have tried drinking inflammation meds but nothing helps...im at my wits end because dr's dismiss it as a phantom desease...non existent, exists only in my head, so i guess i wont be getting any help soon.

I thought mine either came from dirt bike riding hard, or hiking with my son on my shoulders. One day I was out and had to go pee, and it felt like something bit my toe. Ever since that day, it only happened more often. I was so freaked out I even convinced myself I had a tumor growing that was pushing on my bladder. At the same time as having the toe pain happening I also have lower left hip pain. So I convinced myself that it would heal up on its own. 14 months later it has finally stopped. I don't know if it's a coincidence or what, but I have started smoking a marijuana oil vapor pen. I've gone through pretty much one gram of oil and I am happy to say pain free when i pee, back pain is 95% eiminated. I heard marijuana can shrink tumors, so maybe I did have one and it shrunk. I did not visit any doctors.

I experience same symptons. My foot begins to pain when i am sitting. This has become an indication that it time to urinate. The thing goes that part of the organs in the pelvis are linked to the left foot. Sort of edima.

I urinate frequently and now I feel back pain, stomach and fever because of this problem. I have visited several doctors who have done tests and prescribed drugs but it seems to worsen

I have almost the same problem. My left toe get a sudden sharp stinging pain about 4-8 seconds before I feel the urge to pee. After I have emptied the bladder the pain is instantly gone. I comes back again just seconds before I get the urge to pee. The pain gets stronger the longer I wait with emptying bladder, and after awhile (if I wait to long) my big toe and the toe next to it become very cold and numb. All sensations disapear after emptying the bladder. I have had 3 back operations around L4/L5 and this toe pain started after the second operation, and was the same after the third operation. (The pain which was the reason for the operations disapeared though, and I am functioning well in daily life and work) My GP, physio and chiro says that they have no idea what cause this «pee-toe» syndrome.
The pain is worst when standing, less when sitting and even less when lying down. So there is a difference in the toe-pain depending on what position I am in before my bladder is full.

Hi everyone,

I know this is an old thread but if anyone is reading this, I have similar problems but I am female. I googled countless things from UTIs to interstitial cystitis and more. The closest thing I found was regarding a pudendal nerve. It can affect the entire lower region. You should contact a pain specialist or a physical therapist who is trained to treat conditions related to this nerve.

Hi,
I am a female, 29, and I am having the same issue here described (that is how I found this site). I am having the usual cistitis pain when urinating, but at the same time I am having a sharp pain in my left ankle. Can this be explained? Thanks

I have the same symptoms. When I press on to urinate I get a sharp cramp like pain in the side of my left foot. The pain stays the same as I pee and then stops when I stop peeing. It’s as though the pain is linked to me squeezing my bladder muscle. I have noticed my urine is slightly cloudy. I visited my doctor and he did a urine test but all was clear. He said he could not explain the symptoms and sent me in my way. I’m worried it may be a prostate issue or something messing with my nerves in my spine or even a brain issue. Has anyone solved this ?

I have foot pain which is worst (really spikes) when I need to urinate.
I have been told it was neuropathy (but none of the meds did anything)
I have been told it was plantar fasciitis (the exercises did help a bit)
I have been told I have Reynaud's phenomenon ( my sisters do so maybe so).
I have been told it is due to hypothyroidism (I have that).
I suspect it may be sciatica.

So far nothing really solves it. My feet often feel like they have been beaten or like I am standing in a bucket of ice water. The pain really spikes if I have to urinate and hold it.

OTC Nsaids seem to have no effect. Things like Amytriptyline and Gabapentin have no effect. Various creams (aspercreme, capsaicin, menthol...) have little or no effect when applied to my feet.

Its interesting: when I (female) get cold on a certain part of my feet, I can literally feel the cold in my Urethra and it feels like as if Im about to get an UTI. Ive had this since I was 15 and nobody else had this strange connection. I then later found out about reflexology and from then on I firmly believe in it - cause the only area that I feel a connection to my Urethra is the "Urethra Area" in Reflexology (like inside of the foot). I was amazed.
