Well hello! I am a 16 yo European boy.
More than 2 years ago I discovered fordyce spots on my penis. I've read so many articles on this topic, I never was satisfied with "It's ok, live with it." Few weeks ago I discovered a site that claims it has found the cure for these spots. As a foreigner it'd be rather hard to get the oil/cream (w/e it is) without knowing if it really works. Here is the site . Does anyone have any experience with this preparation? If not, has anyone found something that might cure it/make at least a bit less visible these spots?

Thanks in advance. Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker.

Hi cannae,

Just looking at their website, I'm skeptical to say the least.

Digging deeper, I can't seem to find any positive reviews on the Internet, including some reviews on this very website; have a quick look.

But digging even further deeper, things just don't seem to add up. On there website they are based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk but Evergreen Holdings Limited is registered in London and the phone number supplied is also a London number and they used to be known as Clark Masts Limited??

Looks like a scam to me and I wouldn't go anywhere near it. One would think that if a cure had been found we would be hearing a lot more of it.

Thats just my findings from 10 minutes research though. I could be completely wrong and it could be true. If anybodys got any more info it'd be appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question though, are you finding them particularly embarrassing?

hi cannaie
I went through your problem.I am a practicing dermatologist.fordyces spots are nothing but ectopic sebacious glands. These glands are usually present on face, chest, back, arms & are responsible for pimples or acne at puberty. Now you must understand that fordyces spots are visible only after you enter in puberty ,same like acne.Treatment includes options.1)Reassurance-do nothing it wouldn't harm.2)Treat like acne -take isotretinoin for at least 6-8 months.no guarntee that they will diappear to your satisfaction.3)Co2 laser ablation-exellent response. Can be done without anaesthesia on ultrapulse mode.4)Radiofrequency surgery-will definitely ablate but needs anaesthesia and will produce little wound which will take at least 8-10 days to heal.In my opinion you should go with option no.3 very satisfactory results with no downtime.choice is yours,All the best. Can i ask of something? why is it so expensive, if its so popular with people and people are obviously 'uncomfortable' with this, why is it not a lower price? it will help so many people?

So taking isotretinoin is the way to get rid of them. But how do you convince your doctor to prescribe you a medicine for acne??
