My daughter had galbladder surgery last Friday. Now this Thursday she needs more surgery through the mouth to vacuum out the bile duct and they're going to start at the top of the large intestines working backwards. How common is this? Why wasnt the bile duct examined more closely? This exact thing happened last year to my sister in law but we're told this is rare? Why dont they look at the ultrasound before galbladder removal? Is this a black hole? Nervous and frustrated. HELP
