Hello All
I had my gallbladder out last August, after spending since July 4th weekend (1 whole month) in perpetual sickness. I literally did not keep food down for over 30 days. No hospital could figure out what was wrong, and it wasn't until my heart showed signs of strain that someone at a city hospital gave me a HIDA scan and it showed a 0%.
I got my gallbladder removed to stop the vomiting. Since then, I have had nothing but the same. Granted, now I can keep food down, but even considering my new non-fat diet I still vomit almost every other day. In addition, I wake up every single morning to stomach upset and diarrhea. The final straw: my topmost incision hurts in a dull way like I was punched yesterday alllllll the time. Sometimes it flares, and I can barely move, and that happens probably twice a day. No fever though, so I assume no stones/ blockage. The messed up thing is that, even considering all the pre-surgery sickness, the area never hurt until AFTER I had the thing removed.
I really don't know what's going on but I'm afraid, at this point. After a year now of sickness no doc can explain (and so, cannot treat), my muscle mass has gone to nothing, I'm sure my esophogus looks like swiss cheese, and I cannot gain the weight back I lost a year ago. I'm 22 and chronically underweight; bc I cannot hold down food, sometimes for extended periods, I pass out so its dangerous for me to drive. I can't hold down a job. Is anyone else having anything like this? I'm starting to feel like the only one...
