Ok, Where to begin? I had been having gallbladder problems for over a year. My Dr finally did a HIDA Scan and found out my gallbladder was only functioning 20% so they left it up to me if i wanted my gallbladder taken out. I finally had had enough pain and discompfort so on 5-13-10 i had my gallbladder taken out. I need to know if what i am feeling is normal. it really scares me that something is wrong. First off, i have been on generic pain relievers from walmart. i reacted badly to the vikoden so my dr told me just to take tylenol. Thats it. So i feel every bit of pain imaginable. For awhile, i thought this pain was normal. but now being on my 10th day of recovery, im not so sure. I still am unable to stand up straight. my muscles are so tense on my right side. and when i try to stand straight up i feel like something ,underneath my right side ribs, is going to pop. does that make sense? everytime i try to stand straight up and stretch myself out there is something trying to stop me and i feel like if i keep going, something will end up poping...and im scared that the feeling wont be so good. As for my diet, i am doing great! no diarrhea or vomiting AT ALL!!
The only reason I am so worried, is cause I have had two friends get their gallbladders taken out in the past 5wks..and both of them by week one were back on their feet and standing straight up. This worries me cause im def. not there yet. Please Help me if someone could!!!
