Thoughts? Has anyone made this decision? My husband and I turned out to be carriers and our son has CF. He is against having another child. I want it despretly.

I think you should take into account the fact that cystic fibrosis only worsens with age and that lung impairment eventually becomes disabling - that is why the average life span for people with CF is 35 years. With such grim prognosis, I just don't know. Is there a chance for you two to adopt?
