Low 1:8 ANA - what is considered high? Positive (35) Actin Antibody - ? meaning/significance - any cause for concern? No diagnosis/? Sjogren's /not frightened just very frustrated. Have ductal eye plugs, on Restasis - mouth dry buy not severely - night sweats - fatigue -GI disturbances a constant - both knees very swollen for last 6 months - each has been drained, L ready to be done again. Both knees have collapsed on me - severe pain and unable to bear weight for short periods of time. Enough, enough. Want to know why - no RA signs in synovial fluid - severe pitting edema in both lower legs, into feet by nighttime - muscle discomfort in lower legs (backs only) - severe lower leg/feet cramps/spasms every night - osteoarthritis in knees, fingers, collarbones - toes of r foot have very little movement (ap. 2 years) - weight gain. Cardiac and vascular studies are OK. Doctor frustrated with me and symptoms - I am ready to throw the "towel in". Where do I turn? Any doctor leads in ? Boston for autoimmune help/treatment - particularly need to find a dr. that knows what an Actin Antibody is. Surprised that most don't. Any help/answers/direction would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.
