I would like to continue to cycle during winter. I know that it is impossible since we have subzero temperatures with snow blizzard very often during cold winter days. I don’t feel like spending several hundreds of dollars for an indoor trainer. I was thinking of using gym stationary bike as a trainer. What do you think about it?

Well it is good idea. Stationary bikes can be helpful. You can cycle indoors during whole winter without subjecting yourself to freezing wind, snow and ice. You get low-impact cardiovascular exercise. They are generally quiet in operation, and are efficient with their use of space. If you have a good gym nearby with a stationary bike you don’t have to buy anything yet you will get plenty of exercise during winter.
