I had an abortion about 3 weeks ago. After 2 weeks, me and my boyfriend started having sex again. The first time we had sex was totally fine, no pain at all, but if my boyfriend tries to penetrate me again soon after having sex, the pain is so awful that I have to tell him to stop. Then, I usually wake up with some bleeding the next day, it's red, not a dark, rusty color. The bleeding seems to be more every time and it's even beginning to hurt when we're not having sex.

I know some bleeding and pain is not unusual after an abortion, but I think this is strange. Is it an infection? Am I not completely healed?
