I had just waxed two nights ago and that same night right when I was about to shower I feel a hard bump on my pubic area, it is warm to the touch and hurts when touching/squeezing it, it was slightly red, but now it looks slightly purple, I don't know what to do.

Hi.

It's possible that the bump you're experiencing in your pubic area is a result of skin irritation or an ingrown hair, especially since you mentioned recently waxing in that area.

In the meantime, here are a few general suggestions:

  1. Avoid touching or squeezing the bump to prevent further irritation or infection.
  2. Keep the area clean and dry. You can gently cleanse the area with mild soap and warm water, then pat it dry.
  3. Applying a warm compress to the bump for about 10-15 minutes a few times a day may help reduce inflammation and alleviate discomfort.
  4. Avoid wearing tight clothing or underwear that may rub against or irritate the area.
  5. Refrain from any further hair removal or shaving in the affected area until the bump has healed.

Hope this will be resolved soon!
