(This happens every so often.. and I never thought much about it, although it does freak me out when it happens..)

I'm 21 years old, not in the greatest shape, and have been a heavy smoker for 5-6 years.
The weather has been fluxuating a lot, and I've been spending a lot of time outside, and spending less time sleeping, and a lot more time travelling than I'm used to the past few weeks (I'm on vacation).

THE ISSUE:
The past couple days I've had a discomforting feeling in my left lung, that travels up to the bottom of my throat. When I swallow, I don't feel any pain in particular, but it feels very stiff, like there's a lump of a hard cartilege in my lung/throat.

Does anyone know what this could be?
