same problem. I'm 19 and about 3 years ago i had a bump.  at first i could push it and it was soft…then i pushed on it and it "went back into place". the bump was gone for a while.  but then i noticed it again like 6 months later and its been in the same spot and hard ever since.

also whenever i have a headache its like all the pain is concentrated there.

I had a small bump on my forehead that was flesh-colored and very hard to the touch, pea-sized, and very unattractive for over five months. The bump never hurt. Nothing I did made it go away and it appeared to be growing so I made an appointment with a dermatologist 2 weeks ago.  The doctor told me it was a cyst and recommended I have it removed.  She said it was caused by a by a blockage of the pore or possibly an inflammed hair follicle.  She did send a sample of the material she removed to the lab just to make sure it was not cancerous but said cysts are not skin cancer.  The area where she cut the cyst out required 2 stitches and 3 days ago I had them removed.  The bump is gone and hardly any sign of a scar, just a very tiny red spot.  The doctor recommended putting vaseline on the area to reduce any scarring.  It looks 100 times better than the bump!  I highly recommend anyone with a small pea-sized bump go to a dermatologist and have it removed.  Hope this helps!

hi my name is jason ,i too have only recently discovered a small bump underneath a scar i had on my forehead from where i fell one night slightly intoxicated ,ive a gp s appointment today as it feels grisly when i touch it ,its not that big but a few of the guys in work brought it too my attentiion ,id be very vain and would hate the thoughts of it getting bigger ,also would be worried its sopmething more serious than an osteopkite or bone spur but because of the position of it and the fall i can definitly remember im quite sure its a bone spur ,now how do i go about getting it removed ,plastic surgery or is there a better more efficient way of removing this ,any ideas ?ive a feeling knowing my gp hell say aww its grand you can hardly notice it !!

i also have one on left side of my forehead. i've had this since i was in highschool. im 27 now. i usually can just press it in and disappear right there and then. i am unsure what causes it to come out. but 3 weeks ago it started to come out and this time it's like a hard mass inside. i cannot press it in anymore. and it's a bit painful now. i came to see a doctor immediately becuse people are starting to ask what's that lump on my head. i made an appointment to a general doctor who referred me to a surgeon. and yes i had surgery. surgeon's instict is to cut, right? during the exam surgeon told me it's a teratoma. when he cut my forehead open the lump disappeared, i heard him say that because im awake during surgery. it took him an hour and a half in operating and closed me up. he said it's not a teratoma, it's like a hemangioma. or as he termed it "almost a hemangioma". he said he ligated a blood vessel that's causing the inflammation. i have recovered from my surgery now and guess what, the lump is still here. not as big and noticeable as it used to be but it's still here. im gonna make an appointment to see another doctor soon to get a second opinion but if this is not somehting serious im not having another surgery. i dont want to have scar again.

I have had a lump underneath the surface on my forehead for quite some time.  I actually didn't notice it until 2007 when I was out with friends and we were taking pictures.  At a certain angle you could see a small bump on the top of my forehead just above my left eye, it looked like i hit my head.  I didn't think anything of it but over the years the lump has grown in size.  It doesn't hurt, but at times I feel pressure on the lump and the pressure travels down to my eye which causes discomfort.  I went to my treating physician and she said it's probably a cyst growing and not to worry.  She said I could have it removed but it would be for cosmetic purposes, not for health reasons.

I don't want to to get bigger, but if it's a cyst...bigger is what it will be.  I have to constantly wear my bangs to the side or else people would see it.  When i lift my eyebrows the bump is very very very noticable.  I don't like it one bit. :(

I notice I have bony bump about two inches above my left brow. i noticed it about five months ago. When I press on it, I feel pressure in my ears. Thinking because its so close to my sinuses. I have had vertigo issues since February. I get headaches almost every day, sometimes all day. It's horrible and frustrating. MRI for vertigo came back fine. But now this bony bump. Could this be causing all the issues? Should I be concerned? Is the bump going to get larger?

I also have the same lump above my left eyebrow, it feels like bone but sometimes it hurts and when it hurts I can feel a throbbing as if there is a vein or something that this bone is pressing on. My doctors have all dismissed it and it's very frustrating. You are not alone. If I find out more info I will let you know.

Wow. I've had this by,p on the  right side also for years it comes an goes gets bigger an smaller . Softer an harder. Lately it hasn't gone away. I also have a round little ball in both ear lobes I thought/think are scar tissue from getting my ears pierced I noticed the bumps in my ear lobes about a year ago. Within the last couple months I've notices an oval shaped lump on the left side near my him it down under my skin an can barely feel it unless I lay down. Same thing it gets bigger an smaller sometimes it hurts like an annoying hurt other times it doesn't even bother me. Within the last two months I've also noticed all these small bumps on my neck mostly the right side there not red ,itchy, pus filled, or anything like that. They're just there one of them have became into like a ball but not big. Sometimes they're itchy but very rarwly..., I'm recovering from opiate addiction an as ppl who know what the symptoms of that are is cold sweats, chills, sweating, hot flashes, no appetite, hard to sleep, irritation, an so much more! I got on suboxone about 2-3 months ago with is an detox medication I thought all these symptoms would go away & most of them have! But it still doesn't explain all these bumps & lumps. Anyone have the same thing? Or know what this could be? I'm hoping to go see the doctor soon!

I had exactly the same cyst in the geometric center of my forehead. It just appeared overnight. I had it surgically removed and it grew back again in about two weeks. Well, to make a long story short, I began hearing voices & seeing visions in the daytime when I was awake. I knew that no one else could see or hear what I was sensing. I found passages in the Bible that mention a seal on the forehead ( Ezekiel 9:4 and Revelation 7:3). I also noticed that authentic statues of the Buddha have a small lump in the geometric center of his forehead.

It was comforting to know that I am not the only one suffering from what appears to be an osteoma. Actually I have two quarter-sized bony growths on my forehead where "horns" would grow to best describe the location. They honest just appeared one day about a month ago. I've never bumped my head.... I've had doctors tell me "don't bother it if it's not bothering you" and "let sleeping dogs lie". How very insensitive!! I did not give up and insisted on having a CT scan and will have the results next week. Whether they hurt or not, may be cancerous or not, if you have similar, please see a doctor and insist that tests are completed. The posts here have helped me decide to see a professional plastic surgeon in hopes he/she can just "chisel them off" as I've read. I'm having them removed because I'm so self conscious if the wind blows my bangs (always wearing to cover bumps). I just want to be free to wear my hair any way I choose and to relax and enjoy life without constantly straightening my hair to make sure the lumps are not showing. If the lumps/knots/growths are bothering you, get examined and get them removed. Period. You are worth it!!
